Not long ago, I was speaking to the staff of a well-established non-profit organization that was facing a dilemma. This past week, Giving USA released its annual report on charitable giving in America. In case you missed it, the report stated that for the first time ever donations from all sources reached the record level of $306 billion in 2007.
